日前，珠海华润银行已经“悄悄”更换了银行名称，变成了“广东华润银行”。
财经众议院注意到，在天眼查等平台上，已经没有珠海华润银行，取而代之的是“广东华润银行”。在曾用名栏目里，显示原名称使用截止到2026年2月。
但截至2月底，华润银行并没有在官网以及行业媒体发布任何更名的公告。而且，银行更名属于重大事件，需要经过银行董事会/股东会审批更名提案，并报监管批准，然后才能变更工商登记。
如今从华润银行已经变更工商登记来看，只能倒推上述流程已经完成，只是“悄悄进行”，没有对外披露。
从“珠海”到“广东”，华润银行与广东城商行更名趋势一脉相承。广东共有5家城商行，已经有3家冠名“广东”，分别是广东华兴银行、广东南粤银行和此次更名的广东华润银行，反而是资产规模排前两名的广州银行和东莞银行，没有“贪大务虚”，仍延用城市名号。
广东华润银行出世
天眼查显示，华润银行共有三个名字：1996年12月至2011年3月，珠海市商业银行；2011年3月至2026年2月，珠海华润银行；2026年2月更名为广东华润银行。
官网显示，华润银行成立于1996年12月。2010年1月，华润集团和珠海市政府对珠海市商业银行成功实施战略重组并完成更名。主要股东分别为华润集团，南方电网，中国电子，以及珠海市、深圳市国资控股企业。
财经众议院注意到，华润银行的注册地一直在珠海，但华润集团入主后，在深圳设有总行部室。2025年初，有媒体报道，华润银行启动深圳总行部室向珠海总部大楼的搬迁工作，同时在深圳设立（保留）资金运营中心，科技研发中心，普惠金融中心。
总部搬迁回珠海，但名称却变成了“广东”。
华润银行冠以“广东”，有其合理性一面。截至目前，华润银行已在珠海、深圳、中山、佛山、东莞、惠州、广州、江门、肇庆设立10家分行，130家支行，机构和业务早已在广东全省布局。
实际上，广东省内冠名为“广东”的三家城商行，都在省内多地开设分行。比如，注册在汕头的广东华兴银行，在广州、深圳、佛山、东莞、汕头、江门、珠海、惠州、中山、肇庆、湛江设立11家分行；注册在湛江的广东南粤银行，不仅在广东省内设立了12家分行，更是在重庆、长沙设立了异地分行。
但令人意外的是，此次华润银行更名，一直未见公开的信息披露。按照《商业银行法》及相关行政许可规定，银行更名实行“先批后登”，未经监管批准不得擅自更名。
按照法定流程，银行首先要召开股东大会/董事会，表决通过更名议案，并形成正式决议文件；监管机关对更名材料进行形式审查与实质审查，确认符合审慎性要求，审批通过；然后市场监督管理局换发新的营业执照；银行凭新营业执照及监管批复，向监管机构申请换发《金融许可证》。
更为重要的是，银行更名要对外公告。银行要在指定媒体（如报纸、官网）发布更名公告，告知客户、合作伙伴及监管部门。同时要更新全国银行间同业拆借中心、支付系统、征信系统等内部数据库中的名称信息，并对境内分支机构进行同步更名，并完成各自的金融许可证换发。
更名“贪大务虚风”再起？
值得关注的是，广东5家城商行，有3家名称前冠以“广东”，但这3家都是资产规模排名靠后的银行，前两名广州银行和东莞银行，均没有更名的想法。
截至2024年底，广州银行资产规模超过8500亿元，净利润超10亿；东莞银行资产规模超6700亿元，净利润高达37亿元。相比之下，此次更名的华润银行，2024年资产规模仅为4300亿元，净利润仅为4.4亿元左右，而且同比下降68%，这一净利水平是该行近9年来的最低值。
《庄子》曰：“故凡患，事至于大，必始于务虚名”。目前，一些银行热衷于改名号，贪大务虚，试图通过更改名称来提升逼格或掩盖经营问题，而不是专注于提升业务质量。这一趋势在城商行有蔓延势头。
比如，四川南充商业银行，更名为“四川天府银行”，从名号上跳出地方束缚，冠上“四川”这个大省名和“天府”这个大IP，曾被批评为“重名号、轻实务”。
而有些商业银行则踏实做事，不在名号上斤斤计较。比如已实现在山东16地市全域覆盖，但该行并没有更名为“山东银行”的想法。最新的业绩快报显示，2025年该行资产规模突破8000亿元，同比增长18.12%；归母净利润51.88亿元，同比增长21.66%，在目前披露财报数据的银行中遥遥领先。
这家根植于宁波的城商行，虽然分支机构已经遍及全国，但从未有更名的想法。2025年资产规模同比大增16%，站稳3.6万亿体量，成为城商行的“巨无霸”；不良率更是自2007年上市以来连续18年保持在1%以下，成为罕见的“优等生”。
